After losing our daughter and my father to an opiate dependency and watching six fellow firefighters choose suicide because of ineffective treatment for PTSD, mental health conditions, and addiction, my wife and I made a promise. We are on a mission to change the narrative from loss to better living through plant-based medicine. The people we loved and lost would have benefited from cannabis and psychedelic therapy but could not gain access. I believe if they could have, they would be with us today.
The culmination of our center, its partners, and our community members represents a promise kept that addresses greater health and wellness through education, precision medicine, and plant-based treatments.

To become the first licensed, accredited, and globally-minded medical, research and educational center to focus on preventative healthcare, precision medicine, and innovative treatments including psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and plant-based therapeutics.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be the catalyst for bringing innovative therapies, including plant-based medicine and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, supporting patients in their recovery journey from mental health conditions, brain injuries, and addictions. PIR will provide end-to-end support for community members, including medical delivery of innovative therapeutics, conducting clinical trials, and delivering education to medical professionals with the opportunity for hands-on training.

Gary Roberts
Co-founder
Gary Roberts is an 18-year career firefighter pioneering treatment for addiction, mental health, PTSD, and Traumatic Brain Injury through cannabis, psychedelics, movement, and nutrition. With over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, Gary focuses on athlete coaching, physical recovery programs, and mental training for athletic performance. He owns a leading-edge CBD company, Pure Body Zen, founded to enable athletes, EMTs, firefighters, police, and military personnel to access safe and effective THC-free products. As the host of the Good Dudes Grow podcast, Gary connects with physicians, professional athletes, politicians, and entrepreneurs in the world of hemp, cannabis, and psychedelics on the future of a new medical revolution. He’s the chair of Ft. Lauderdale’s new Cannabis Health and Wellness Committee advocating changes in the city’s THC testing policies for firefighters and police officers. As a business owner, he’s a visionary leader who is fiscally-minded, ecological, collaborative, and constantly looking for win-win solutions. His passion and relentless pursuit are unmatched.
Pamela Roberts
Co-founder
Pamela Roberts led the strategic branding initiative for Marriott Corporation, one of the largest hotel chains in the world. She was responsible for developing and executing the global marketing strategy for all programs and managed a 25-million-dollar budget. She also created the ideal objectives and member experiences for the NFL, NBA, and PGA partnerships. Her extensive experience allows PIR to excel through the same marketing strategies that made Marriott a force in the hotel resort industry. In addition, her natural ability to calm and comfort people will create the feeling PIR will strive for—a tranquil, soothing, safe, and professional environment.
Mike Jalloul
CFO/Director of Operations
Mr. Jalloul has strong professional finance and management skills with a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, and hotel operations. Mr. Jalloul served as Operations Manager for resort hotels in Dubai, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Palm Beach, Florida for nearly a decade.

Designer and Creator of Culinary Services
Jordan Wagman is an award-nominated Chef, bestselling author, philanthropist, sales leader and Psoriasis warrior. Jordan helps others find health through an anti-inflammatory diet and proves great, healthy, food can taste incredible too. Jordan is a cannabis advocate and cites the use of THC and CBD as a pillar for his health.
Justin Kirkland
Chief Science Officer
Justin Kirkland is a chemist with specialized experience in natural products, small molecules, peptide synthesis, analytical chemistry, and drug formulations for improved bioavailability. He served as a pharmaceutical CEO, oversaw product development, led scientific investigations, founded dietary supplements, and was recently awarded a U.S. patent for the improved synthesis of the ergoline, 2-bromo-LSD.

Family Physician and consultant in cannabis medicine in the Northwest. He graduated from West Point 1972 and University of Miami School of Medicine 1978, trained in Family Medicine and served as combat physician in 1991 Gulf War.
In 2021 he coauthored the Medicinal Cannabis and CBD in Mental Healthcare and in 2022 created BCPLus, an oral non-cannabis ECS activator from beta-caryophyllene, a powerful regulator of immunity, neurotransmitters, and metabolism.

Jim McMahon
Former Super Bowl Champion and Cannabis Advocate
Jim McMahon is one of Chicago’s favorite sports heroes, Super Bowl champions, and Collegiate Football Hall of Fame members. McMahon is exceptionally interested in charity work and supports foundations that help at-risk/disadvantaged youths and children and support health maintenance. McMahon reports medical cannabis is a “godsend” in staving off early-stage dementia and the negative effects of his career.
